Board of Education

The Lodi Unified School District has a seven-member Board of Education, with each Board member representing one of seven identified geographical areas within the school district. Board members must live in their identified area but are elected at large. They serve a four-year term of office.

In addition to establishing district policy, the Board of Education defines the educational goals of the district, approves curriculum, textbooks, and courses of study; adopts an annual budget; employs personnel; and makes decisions on school facility matters.

The Board welcomes the public to attend and participate in their meetings.
