Measure T Bond Information

Lodi Unified School District Bond Measure T

Lodi Unified School District’s Measure K Bond funded the building of multiple new school sites in order to allow the district to move from Concept 6 year-round education to the current Modified Traditional Calendar. These projects included the construction of McNair High School, Millswood Middle School, Borchardt Elementary School, and more. The Measure K bonds will be fully paid in 2029. Measure T is designed as a tax rate extension that will take the place of Measure K as it comes to an end. Measure T is not projected to raise property tax rates from current rates under Measure K. While the district is not able to advocate for or make any suggestions in regards to Measure T, we can provide facts. More information, and answers to frequently asked questions, can be found below.

What does it do?

Measure T will be used strictly for school and classroom repair and construction purposes, including:

  • Aging infrastructure: Renovate, repair, or replace deteriorating buildings, plumbing, leaky roofs, inefficient heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Career training facilities: Construction and acquisition of modern labs, classrooms, and equipment preparing students for in-demand career fields such as healthcare, agricultural sciences, and skilled trades.
  • Student and staff safety: Installation of campus fencing, cameras, intruder protection, emergency communication tools, smoke detectors, fire alarms, and sprinklers
