Currently, State Accountability is assessed via the California School Dashboard.
California School Dashboard
California is field testing a new website designed to help communities across the state access important information about K–12 districts and schools – including ours, called the California School Dashboard. The site features easy-to-read reports on multiple measures of school success, including test scores, graduation rates, English Learner progress and suspension rates. The Dashboard is the next step in a series of major shifts in public education as a result of the Local Control Funding Formula. California has raised the bar for student learning, transformed testing and placed the focus on equity for all students. Please access the resourcesto the right to learn more about this new accountability system. The Dashboard's design and features may change over time based on feedback. The Dashboard will be published annually each fall and will incorporate the most recent available data.

California Model Five-by-Five Grid
California's new accountability and continuous improvement system is based on a five-by-five colored table that produces 25 results using five colors. Performance for state indicators is calculated based on the combination of current performance (Status) and improvement over time (Change), resulting in five color-coded performance levels for each indicator. From highest to lowest the performance levels are: Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. The five color-coded performance levels are calculated using percentiles to create a five-by five colored table that combine Status and Change. The resulting reports are the Five-by-Five Color Tables.
