Child Care and development programs

The primary goal of these programs is to provide comprehensive coordinated, cost-effective, quality child development programs with developmentally appropriate experiences. Such programs are an extension, not a replacement, of the family function.

Admission into the programs is based on eligibility criteria in accordance with State laws, rules, and guidelines. Administrative regulations governing the ongoing operation of the various programs, (e.g., ages, hours, absences, etc.) will be delineated in Parent Handbooks. Admission to Child Development Programs is restricted to residents of the Lodi Unified School District. Child Development programs are provided to all eligible students without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, or physical handicap.

The Child Development Programs (General Child Care, State preschool, SchoolAge Community Child Care, Federal Block Grant General Child Care) are administered in accordance with the California Department of Education, Child Development Division guidelines; including Funding Terms and Conditions, due process requirements, and program quality requirements.
