Facilities Site selection
As part of the district’s Master Plan process, the Board of Education shall designate future school sites based on the General Plans of the City of Lodi, City of Stockton and San Joaquin County. The Superintendent, and/or designee, shall participate in the revision of these general plans to assure that the plans provide for sufficient sites to meet the district’s projected school needs.
The number, and location of sites shall be based upon the projected number of housing units provided by the local agencies or development community, and the district’s student generation report. The capacity of each school, for the purposes of site selection, shall be determined by the Board of Education. This may be on the basis of a multi-track year round education calendar or a traditional calendar.
Size and location of sites shall be based on the criteria of the California Department of Education and the California Office of Public School Construction.
