On-Line Student Edition of the textbook is made available by teacher sign-up only. STARLAB is a portable nylon fabric mini-planetarium, 16 feet in diameter and 10 feet tall. In addition to astronomy, programs that can be presented using STARLAB include Native Americans, Ancient Chinese, African Mythology, Plate Tectonics, and Greek Mythology. Users must be trained in its operation prior to check-out and use, please contact the IMS department x17237 for more information.

Lodi Unified School District partners with the community on a wide variety of activities and event related to Science. A few of these include the following:
The Sandhill Crane Festival on the first week-end in November. In it's 13th year, the Festival offers over 40 tours to local spots to observe wildlife, as well as educational and entertaining programs at Hutchins Street Square.
The World of Wonders Science Museum The district has been integral in planning for the World of Wonders Science Museum that is housed in the ground floor of the parking garage in Downtown Lodi.
