The Purchasing Department is dedicated to the procurement of supplies and services which Lodi Unified School District needs for efficient operation and maintenance.  The Purchasing Department strives to provide supplies and services at the lowest possible cost, consistent with the quality needed for the performance of School District activities.  We have an obligation to our community to obtain maximum value and provide reliable resources.

Goals

  • Promote a climate of good customer service
  • Adhere to purchasing rules governed by Education Code, Public Contract Code, Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, etc.
  • Purchase appropriate products for the purposes required
  • Purchase the optimum quality of the products while paying the lowest possible price
  • Ensure district standards are adhered to
  • Maintain equipment inventory of items whose current market value exceeds $500.00
