Media Pass - Sporting Events

Obtaining a Lodi USD Media Pass

Individuals who wish to record and/or photograph sporting events, from the field and/or court, for the purpose of using as news reports or creating highlight reels for individual athletes, must first be approved by Lodi Unified School District.

Reporters, journalists and/or representatives of major news outlets, or those who have CIF regulated media clearance do not need to go through the district approval process. All media, however, is expected to check in with school officials prior to entering a sporting event.

To request a media pass

STEP 1: Submit an online application at least one full week prior to the first sporting event the applicant wishes to attend and film. Applications, once approved, are good for the entire school year.*

STEP 2: Upon approval, applicants will be contacted by a member of the Lodi USD Communications Department and provided a liability waiver and agreement to sign.

STEP 3: After the signed agreement is received, the applicant will be connected with school officials for game-day check-in instructions. Media passes must be visibly worn at all times while at sporting events, and returned to staff upon leaving.
