Become a School Bus Driver for Lodi USD

Requirements
  • School Bus Driver Classroom Training (day or weekend classes available)
  • School Bus Driver Behind-the-Wheel Test
  • Must pass DOJ and Lodi USD background checks
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be enrolled in random drug testing
  • Test required at DMV for permit:
    • Commercial B
    • Air Brakes
    • Passenger Endorsement
    • School Bus Endorsement
Fees
Applicants pay DMV, CHP, and Lodi USD fingerprinting fees. Transportation Department will pay for DMV-DOT physical. Inform Transportation when you are ready for DMV test and we will schedule DOT medical.
